]]>Raise your hand if you‘ve never had difficulties in memorizing vocabulary in a foreign language.
…
Yeah, thought so. There are words that don’t stick no matter what you do. You keep on learning and learning them until you get so frustrated that you stop making the effort.
Wait! There’s no need to get discouraged. Learning vocabulary doesn’t have to be a painful and boring process. On the contrary, it can be fun and addictive.
FlashSticks are packs of pre-printed notes, ready for you to post wherever you want: in your room, in your car, in your office, and so on. They’re basically colourful post-it notes with words and their English meaning, plus a written phonetic and an appropriate picture attached to them. And they’re even colour-coded by gender: blue for masculine nouns, pinks for feminine nouns and yellow for all other words.
But there’s more…
The guys behind FlashSticks have also created a totally free app that you can download to hear the correct pronunciation of the words. All you need to do is head over to your app store and search “FlashSticks.”
Don’t just take my word for it, look it up for yourself. Check out the FlashSticks project and listen to Lindsay talking about it.
Are you ready to get your world FlashSticksized? Where will you stick yours?
On the fridge? On the wardrobe? On your PC? On your mirror? On your pet?
You can show it to me by joining the #FlashSticksFriday initiative on Twitter! Just head over to their website, get yourself a pack and tweet your amazing pictures, using the hashtag, of you learning on the go.
Be creative and have fun!
Dove attaccherai i tuoi adesivi?
Sul frigorifero? Sul guardaroba? Sul tuo PC? Sul tuo specchio? Sul tuo animale domestico?
Puoi mostrarmelo partecipando all’iniziativa #FlashSticksFriday su Twitter! Ti basta andare sul loro sito, accaparrarti un pacchetto e, usando l’hashtag, twittare fantastiche foto che rappresentino il tuo percorso di apprendimento.
Sii creativo e divertiti!
